2010Taipei Internation Flora Expsition
The 2010 Taipei International Flora Exposition (the “2010 Taipei Int’l Flora Expo), the A2B1 level horticulture exposition, is set to open on November 6th, 2010 in Taipei. It will be the first such internationally-recognized exposition to take place in our City and the seventh of its kind to take place in Asia. To ensure its success, we are hard at work upgrading our City’s infrastructure and improving services to transform Taipei into a city of gardens. We fully expect that this event will promote the growth of floriculture in our country and stimulate economic and urban development around Taipei, as well as enhance our City’s image in the international community.

Featuring a theme of “Rivers, Flowers, New Horizons,” the Expo will include fourteen exhibition halls, each possessing its own unique style and spread across an area of 91.8 hectares. In this way, the Expo is dedicated to the showcasing of notable achievements in horticulture, science, and environmental protection technology. Our principal aim is to inspire visitors to embrace new ideas and implement green practices in order to protect our precious Earth and preserve its exquisite beauty.

It is our sincere hope that people from all over the world will transcend their political and cultural differences to gather in Taipei in a spirit of friendship, amid the beauty of rivers and flowers, to explore new horizons at the 2010 Taipei Int’l Flora Expo. On behalf of all the citizens of Taipei, I heartily invite you to join us as we let the world see Taipei, and let Taipei embrace the world!
